Hey guys i think most people would know me I was the MT for Withdrawal Technique. Avatar was formed by merging the two guilds Advent and WT for the mutal benefit of all the players in both guilds. Its a simple reason really.
Because of the merger we at Avatar will very likely be able to run two 25mans for farm content and from that playerbase build a rock solid and compedative progression team that will clear all the raids blizzard could possibly throw at us. Working from the idea that friendly competition in guild for raid spots will encourage people to stay ontop of their game and not get lazy in the current (admittedly /sleep) raids, the leadership team at Avatar are actually really optimistic as to how this merger will work and how it will affect the members from both guilds.
Now understandably some people from the two guilds are worried that they will lose their raidspot. All non-officer potential raiders have been placed on the initiate rank - we're starting fresh and fairly. If you were a core raider or believe yourself to be a kick ass player than you shouldn't stuggle to secure a spot. Actions speak louder than words and in many cases the skill and ATTITUDE a player brings to a raid will speak for itself. However if you're unlucky enough to not get a core raid spot after the trials are over don't dispair! You will still be able to participate in 25man raids as a sub for the progression team and in farm raids (in which you can continue to prove yourself so if a spot becomes available you might be picked for it).
So there you have it folks. The guilds were merged because we have alot in common. Same loot system and raid times for starters as well as a strong desire to be an awsome guild. Any questions can be directed to your new leadership team listed bellow.
